Sofia Moreira Pires has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Conservation and Restoration at the Department of Conservation and Restoration at FCT NOVA, specialising in ceramic and glass materials. Currently, she is working as a master researcher on the project “MAGICA – Magic Lantern: Study, Safeguard, Uses and Reuses in 19 th -Century Portugal”.
