Associate Professor with Aggregation at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (FBAUL). PhD in Fine Arts, branch of Art and Heritage Sciences (2005). It articulates teaching and research in the areas of History of Prehistoric and Roman Art, History of Tile, History of Brazilian Art, Museology, Curation, Heritage, Archeology and Material Culture. The line of research is “art and spirituality”, focusing on the history of ceramics, which includes tiles and terracotta sculptures from the Roman era. Author of studies in the field of art in prehistory, in Roman times, on Brazilian art and cultural heritage. Organizes scientific meetings. It integrates scientific institutions in Portugal, Brazil, Spain and Italy.
