José Pedro Barosa

Retired. PhD in Economics (FE-UNL). Researcher at the then Centre for Labour Economics (afterwards Centre for Economic Performance) of the London School of Economics. Former Associate Professor of Economics; Director of Undergraduate Studies, member of the Direction of FE-UNL and member of the first Nova University Senate, President of NovaForum, Nova SBE (formerly FE-UNL) institute for advanced learning in business administration; former member of the American Economic Association and the European Economic Association; Chairman of Santos Barosa – Vidros, S. A., President of EGM – European Glass Manufacturers Committee and AIVE – Associação dos Industriais do Vidro de Embalagem. Interest in glass history originating from the confluence of ancient family connections to glassmaking, experience in academic research and managerial duties in this industry. Organizer of the Museum Santos Barosa and editor of its research publications.
