Mª Filomena Macedo Dinis (M.F. Macedo) is an Associate Professor at the Dept. of Conservation and Restoration FCT NOVA. (http://www.dcr.fct.unl.pt/) where she teaches the curricular units of “Biology in Conservation and Restoration” and “Preventive Conservation”. From 2003 to nowadays her research and development activities have been essentially related to the problematic of collections preventive conservation, with an emphasis on risk analysis models. Simultaneously, she also developed her research on biodeterioration of cultural heritage.
