Visual artist, and researcher, brazilian and portuguese. Artistic name: Cláudia Matoos. Ph.D. in Visual Arts – Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, UFRJ, Brazil (2015). Postdoctoral student in painting at FBAULisboa (2023-2025). Fundação Nadir Afonso Scholarship holder. Master in Science of Religion – Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, UFJF, Brazil (2007). Degree in Artistic Education – Licentiate and Bachelor – UFJF, Brazil (1987). Collaborating researcher at VICARTE with the project: “Amazonia: Colors and Shapes – tiles, ceramics and glass” in the Glass and Ceramics in Contemporary research line. She has several publications, participation in Congresses and many national and international exhibitions.
