Anna Cristoforetti earned a Master’s degree in Classical Archaeology from the University of Bologna in 2019 and a second Master’s in Museology, Museography, and Cultural Heritage Management from Università Cattolica, Milan, in 2020. She is currently a PhD fellow in Conservation Science in at FCT-NOVA. Her research project, Glass in Motion: Portugal in a European Context, investigates 14th- to 16th-century glass artifacts from Portuguese archaeological sites. By integrating historical and archaeological analysis with chemical composition studies, she aims to trace the origins of these objects and illuminate the commercial and cultural exchanges that connected Portugal with Europe during the late medieval to early modern period.
