I hold a Joint Master’s in Archaeological Materials Science from the University of Evora (Portugal), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), and Sapienza University of Rome (Italy), with a focus on Roman glass, and a BSc in Physics from UNAM (Mexico), centred on historical glass analysis. My current cotutelle research at NOVA and the University of Orléans (France) explores the role of the al-Gharb and Maghreb in the transfer of glassmaking technologies from the Islamic East to the western Mediterranean between the 8th and 13th centuries, integrating archaeological, historical, and analytical data. My training includes a Strategic Planning Internship at ICCROM, a Visual Analytics Internship at MAGIC-SFU (Canada), and research affiliation on heritage analysis at LANCIC-UNAM.
