On 22 October 2024, the LMA Glass Art Department hosted the artist Robert Christopher Wiley III (Portugal).

He represents the Association of Plastic Arts of Almada IMARGEM and the Art and Science Association VICARTE, whose activities he presented in his lecture.

The students had the opportunity to discuss with Robert Wiley the concepts of their studio projects, as well as to participate in the completion of the installation Window Dressing in the Window for Art Gallery and to better understand the artist’s creativity through informal conversations in the IRMA Collaborative Studio.

VICARTE is a partnership between NOVA School of Science and Technology and the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, involving the Faculties of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, the School of Art and Design, the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria and the Faculty of Culture.

The event will be hosted by Professor Inguna Audere.
