AMICE 10+ Exhibition at the NOVA FCT Library | September 9th to October 31st
The Department of Conservation and Restoration (DCR) is pleased to present the AMICE 10+ exhibition, on display at the Exhibition Hall of the NOVA FCT Library from September 9th to October 31st. Organized in partnership with VICARTE (DCR) and the American Corner, this exhibition celebrates a decade of the AMICE project and its evolution.
A decade ago, three renowned artists — Richard Meitner, Michael Rogers, and Robert Wiley — all with strong connections to the NOVA FCT campus, launched the AMICE project to foster a unique convergence of art, science, and technology within the academic environment. Now, in 2024, these artists return alongside the talented Bélen Uriel to revisit and expand upon their original vision through the AMICE 10+ exhibition.
AMICE 10+ highlights the synergy between art and science, emphasizing the importance of shared learning and creativity. Over the years, these artists have significantly contributed to interdisciplinary exchange and learning through teaching and shared experiences. This exhibition stands as a testament to the lasting impact of this collaboration and its ability to inspire new connections between the arts and sciences.
Visitors to the NOVA FCT Library during this period can look forward to a unique and enriching experience.
