VICARTE and Fábrica de Pólvora de Vale de Milhaços – Ecomuseu do Seixal are organising an Artistic residency @Fábrida de Pólvora de Vale de Milhaços, for ceramic sculpture.

The main theme is the Gunpowder Factory in all its dimensions: History, Heritage, Environment, Industry, Community, among others.

Participants will get acquainted with the heritage site and develop their ceramic projects there. The project will include the firing of the objects, preparing an exhibition and organising and open day for the public to disseminate the project and ceramic making, contributing for the visibility of the Gunpowder Factory, VICARTE and NOVA FCT.

From September 2024 to January 2025.
