Recent Advances in Glass and Ceramics Conservation 2022  – 6th Interim · Meeting of the Glass and Ceramics Working Group · 8-11 November 2022

The ICOM-CC Glass and Ceramics Working GroupVICARTE Research Unit and Department of Conservation and Restoration from the NOVA School of Sciences and Technology (FCT NOVA) are pleased to announce the 6th Interim Meeting of the ICOM-CC Glass and Ceramics Working Group. 

The conference will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, in a hybrid format, with options for both in-person and online attendance and presentation. This is a new format for our Working Group, and we are thrilled to expand our reach and increase access to the glass and ceramics conservation community.

As of 25 October 2022, we have a new host, NOVA School of Science and Technology. Please see our Venue Page for more information.

Selected papers will be peer-reviewed by members of a dedicated scientific committee and published as digital preprints. The digital preprints will be provided to meeting attendees – both in-person and online – and will also be available after the meeting on the ICOM-CC Publications Platform and for print on demand at www.lulu.com. Please note that, for the publication, all authors will be required to transfer the copyright of the contribution to ICOM-CC.

📢 ICOM-CC Glass and Ceramics Working Group – 6th Interim Meeting (2022)

The 6th Interim Meeting of the ICOM-CC Glass and Ceramics Working Group, hosted by the VICARTE Research Unit and the Department of Conservation and Restoration at NOVA FCT, brought together professionals and researchers in the field of glass and ceramics conservation. The event, held in a hybrid format, expanded access to the conservation community worldwide.
