During excavations at the Roman Theatre in Lisbon, 18th-century glass fragments were found, mainly wine bottles, in a residential context. Out of 97 fragments, 64 were studied. Most were dark glass wine bottles, but there were also fragments of various other glass types, both colorless and colored. The study focused on the form and chemical composition to explore the potential origins of the pieces.
