To celebrate the International Year of Glass and the 20th Anniversary of VICARTE, a special event featured artist and educator Katherine Gray. Sponsored by the Department of Conservation and Restoration, FCT-NOVA Library, and The American Corners Program, the event highlighted her work and practice.

Katherine Gray, known as the Resident Evaluator on Netflix’s Blown Away, is a Fellow of the American Crafts Council and a professor at California State University San Bernardino. Her work spans creating fine glass art, curating exhibitions, and teaching glass-making worldwide.

This event at NOVA was an opportunity to appreciate her impactful contributions to glass art.
