Margarida Alves is currently attending the PhD in Fine Arts, Sculpture (FBAUL) and has a PhD scholarship from the University of Lisbon. He studied Sculpture (FBAUL Degree), Art and Glass Science (Master FCTUNL & FBAUL) and Civil Engineering (Pre Bologna Bologna FCTUNL Degree). Her doctoral research focuses on the relationship between physics and sculpture in the expanded field. Addressing the ontological problem surrounding physics (theories of relativity, Newtonian and quantum), the study proposes a reflection in relation to the visibility limits of matter in sculpture.
